María Grazia Goya is a cinematographer and artist born in Ecuador and currently based in Barcelona.
She has worked on feature length and short films across Latin America, Europe and the Caribbean.

In 2015, she earned an MA in Documentary Film Directing from the itinerant graduate program Doc Nomads and in 2020, she graduated in Cinematography from the highly esteemed Cuban film school EICTV.

Recently, she was selected as one of the 12 emerging cinematographers at Berlinale Talents 2021.

Her most recent project Calls from Moscow︎ had its world premiere at the 73rd Berlinale 2023. An a North American premiere at The Museum of Modern Art - MoMA in New York.

María Grazia Goya es una directora de fotografía y artista nacida en Ecuador y actualmente radicada Barcelona.
Ha trabajado en largometrajes y cortometrajes en América Latina, Europa y el Caribe.

En el 2015 obtuvo un Master en Dirección de cine documental de la escuela itinerante Doc Nomads. Y en el 2020 se graduó como Directora de Fotografía de la prestigiosa escuela de cine en Cuba EICTV.

Recientemente fue seleccionada como una directora de fotografía emergente en Berlinale Talents 2021.

Su último proyecto Llamadas desde Moscú ︎ se estrenó mundialmente en la Berlinale 2023. Y posteriormente tuvo su estreno Norte-Americano en el Doc Fortnight del MoMA de Nueva York.
